For retired couple Bradley
and Ann, the nightly ritual of the cocktail
hour is a touchstone for the comfortable,
genteel, old-fashioned life that they cherish.
When their two oldest children join them
one night, the absent youngest son becomes
one of the topics of converation. As the
evening wears on, old pent-up feelings emerge
-- along with a few skeletons from the family
closet.
