Randle P. McMurphy is a free spirit. He's
used to doing things his own way, and he
doesn't expect a stay in a mental institution
to cramp his style. Nurse Ratched, who runs
the ward with a will of iron under the faintest
sheen of compassion, has other ideas. The
contest of wills is on -- with the established
order in the balance.
