She Loves Me

She Loves Me is that rare theatrical jewel, an affectionate musical about love that draws us gently into the hearts and minds of its characters.

Directed by Tanya Lazar

Curtain time is 8:00 PM for performances Thursday-Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday

Budapest, some time in the thirties, Georg, the clerk in the parfumerie, is clever, hardworking, ambitious, and in trouble with his boss. Enter Amalia, clever, hardworking, ambitious, and on her way to being the boss's favorite. Is it surprising that she's hardly a favorite with Georg? But each of these clever people has a clever secret, and for each it's the pen-pal lover they write to and long to meet.

Audience Advisory:
She Loves Me
is suitable in language and subject matter for all audiences.
CAST

This sweet-tempered musical by the makers of Fiorello and Fiddler on the Roof was first on Broadway in 1963 with the legendary Barbara Cook; the 1993 revival was a 1994 Tony award winner. Wherever it goes, the show charms audiences with its witty lyrics, appealing characters, and just-right plot. As light and delectable as a Hungarian pastry, it's bound to be a holiday favorite with PCS audiences.
