2015-2016 Second Stage

PCS Second Stage

It’s Not Just Readings

For more than 20 years, Second Stage has presented a wealth of fare too daring, or ambitious, or just plain odd for the Main Stage, in an intimate setting that puts you close to the action. We call this the challenge series because the shows challenge the craft of our actors and often the settled tastes of our audiences. This season’s list of productions is no exception. Again this year, we also present two staged readings of unproduced work by local playwrights.

Finally, our Spring Cabaret presents some of our most exciting talent in a cozy, up-close setting. Bring your favorite beverage.

All productions are performed in The Raymond W. Smith theater, our intimate black-box space above the lobby. The theater is not handicapped-accessible.
