New This Year


New this year! Your ticket to a Players Club of Swarthmore (or PCS) main stage production has a seat row and number. You can choose where you sit when you purchase your ticket, and you can do that by clicking in the next section, by visiting the box office, or by calling 610-328-4271. SUBSCRIBERS can order tickets for any show at any time of the year. Sale of main stage tickets to non-subscribers begins July 15.
All seats offer excellent views of the stage and outstanding acoustics. There are four wheelchair spaces, identified on the seating chart with a handicapped logo; these can be reserved just like regular seats. If you are accompanying a person in a wheelchair, choose the seat next to the wheelchair space.
Doors open to the lobby (and box office) one hour before curtain time. Doors to the house open 30 minutes before curtain.
Tickets are usually available up until curtain time for most performances. Advance purchases may be available up to two hours prior to a performance. For our most popular shows (usually musicals), we occasionally sell out performances, so please order your tickets early to ensure that you will get a seat before coming to the theater.
We will hold your seat, but we will not hold the curtain, so please plan on arriving before curtain time on show night. It is up to the discretion of the House Manager to seat you after the performance begins.

Ticket Voucher Packages

PCS Ticket Voucher Packages offer you a substantial discount (up to 52% on musicals), but there are other benefits as well.
PCS Ticket Vouchers are totally flexible. You can use as many of your vouchers as you like for any given show during the season. If you must skip a show,

• You can bring a guest to the next one, or you can blow the whole package on one production.
• There is no convenience charge for reservations paid for with a voucher.
• Tickets paid for with a voucher can be exchanged up to the date of the show originally reserved.

MEMBERSHIP in the Players Club of Swarthmore is separate from ticket vouchers. You can add one or more memberships to your voucher, or you can become a member without subscribing. Members get a 20% discount on Main Stage tickets. If you become a member before October 1, you have voting rights when we elect members of our Board of Governors in March. Because voting is by email, we need an email address for each member.
We welcome donations at any time. Ticket sales do NOT cover the expenses of our beautiful building and our ambitious productions.

On the Online Subscription Page, you can select the type of subscription you wish to order. Use the box to the left of the subscription type to choose the number of subscriptions that you want to order. If you wish to support the theater by becoming a member, you may select a membership at this time as well.
When you have made your selections, please hit the Submit button. The Submit button will appear centered in the page, near the bottom.
When you hit the Submit button, you will be taken to a page that shows your Shopping Cart. Please review the items in your shopping cart. If there is an item that you do not want to purchase, check the box to the left of the item that you wish to remove. Then click on the link that says “Remove selected items.” This Remove Selected Items link appears directly below the list of items in your cart.
If you click to remove an item from your cart, a small window will pop up asking you to confirm that you wish to delete the item.

Redeeming Your Voucher


As soon as you have purchased your subscription, you can use it immediately to purchase tickets to individual shows. You can redeem your voucher online, or by phone, or at the Box Office. It’s not necessary to present the paper voucher that will be mailed to you. Your subscription is on our computer system; Box Office volunteers can look you up using your name. No matter how you buy your subscription, once you receive a receipt via email, you can use your subscription online to reserve a seat for the performances of your choice.

  • Select your show on the home page at
  • Click on the performance you want to attend.
  • Click on the blue text “Log in for Member Benefits.”
  • Give your email and password if you know it; if you don’t have one, click the text “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions. Then come back and log in with your new password.
  • Click on “Select seats from map” (twice).
  • Choose your seats. “Ticket type” is a dropdown which will offer you the choice of using your subscription or paying cash.
  • When you have them all, click the button “Add tickets to cart.”
  • Click on “checkout.”
  • Select “eTicket” or “WillCall.”
  • Click on “Continue.” From now on choose “Continue” whenever it is offered.
  • Review your order. You can remove tickets or clear the cart entirely. We appreciate donations!
  • Fill out or verify your contact information.
  • Proceed to the bottom where you must check the Terms and Conditions box and finally click “Place Order $0.00.”
  • An email will be sent to you with the eTicket or receipt. Either is good at the door. Bring it on your phone or print it out. If you come without it, the box office can print it for you in a jiffy; we’ll ask for your last name.

Club Membership

Membership has its privileges!

Become a member of the Players Club of Swarthmore for $20. Members are entitled to attend special meetings and events, vote in PCS elections, and receive a courtesy 20% discount on tickets purchased at the box office, by phone, or online.


Members must be 18 years of age or older. To exercise voting rights in the spring of the current season, you must purchase your membership before October 1.


Individual Shows

Main Stage

Individual tickets for our main stage shows are available to non-subscribers by phone or online, beginning one month before the opening or each main stage show. Tickets are available for advance sale up to two hours before curtain time. The Box Office sells available tickets right up until curtain unless the show is previously sold out. The box office opens one hour before curtain on show nights and afternoons. Subscribers can reserve seats for any performance of any show when the box office is open.

Group Sales


A super bargain in theater: the Players Club of Swarthmore is a best bet for your group functions. Your group will receive a reduced ticket price. PCS would like to help you meet your group’s social or fundraising needs. Your organization can even reserve the entire theater for a special fundraising performance at amazingly low group rates for our 298-seat theater. (We also have four additional wheelchair spaces available.) Group rates vary for straight plays and musicals. Group reservations require a minimum of 15 people. Please book your group reservation arrangements at least a month before the show desired. To arrange a group reservation, call 610-328-4271 then push the Group Sales number indicated on our menu. We will return your call, answering all your questions and your group will be on their way for a special visit to the theater. You can also arrange a group reservation by emailing our Group Sales Coordinator.

Gift Certificates


We offer gift certificates in any dollar amount over $10. These make great gifts for the holidays, anniversaries or birthdays for anyone who enjoys the excitement of live theater. What better gift for the friend or relative who has everything?


The recipient can register your gift card to their account at the Players Club of Swarthmore. Once that is done, they can then use part or all of the amount toward any subsequent purchase of tickets or subscriptions, until the whole amount is used up. The card will expire in two years from the purchase date.

Our Main Stage auditorium is wheelchair accessible, but our Raymond W. Smith Second Stage Theater is not, and could be difficult for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to call the theater at 610-328-4271 for details about our facilities. Anyone needing to be seated early in our auditorium should arrive at least a half hour before the performance and contact our House Manager in the main lobby for assistance. For those who would like assistive listening devices, they can be obtained from the box office at no charge prior to all of our mainstage shows. These radio devices allow you to hear everything perfectly, even from the back of the house!
We have a fully ADA-compliant restroom, with plenty of room to turn a motorized wheelchair around and automated controls on just about everything in the restroom. The seats in our auditorium are cushioned, wide, and comfortable. There are four wheelchair spaces (two in front and two in the rear of the auditorium), as well as several easy access seats with flip-up arms. Wheelchair spaces can be reserved in advance just like regular seats. If you are accompanying a person in a wheelchair, choose the seat next to the wheelchair space.

Terms and Conditions

There are no refunds or exchanges except that tickets bought with a subscription may be refunded up to the time of the performance. I acknowledge the contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus and the inherent risk of exposure that exists in any public place where people are present. I agree to comply with all policies and procedures of PCS including protocols designed to mitigate the risks of infection by COVID-19. I voluntarily assume any and all risks of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 (or such similar disease) as a result of my participation in or attendance at any PCS activity or production and I release, indemnify and hold PCS harmless from any and all such claims arising thereby.
