An explosive drama by Chilean playwright Ariel Dorfman. A former political prisoner believes she recognizes her torturer and rapist in the person of a Good Samaritan who finds her husband stranded by a flat tire and brings him home. She takes the man prisoner and threatens his life. Her husband takes the man’s part and attempts to disprove the details of his wife’s accusation in a harrowing mock trial. Is the man really guilty or is her traumatized brain tipping into paranoia?
